Events at the Farm

Spring and Chicken Market
Saturday 25 March at 10-15

Our favourite day of the year when the whole farm is filled with exhibitors and happy visitors - old and young.
Exhibitors offer crafts, flowers and locally produced delicacies.
Many bring fine chickens of various breeds and other poultry such as ducks and quail,
breeding eggs, woolly and cute chickens and a wealth of tips and knowledge
which they are happy to share. Come and see all the lovely birds!
Some exhibitors are also bringing other small animals, such as rabbits, guinea pigs
and domestic rats, to display and for sale.
Come and fall in love!
The farm shop will be open and serving homemade refreshments and light lunches.
In the shop you will also find the farm's own produced rapeseed oil and mustard
as well as the farm's grass-fed beef from cows raised on Kasteberg's land.
On the shelves in the shop you will also find delicious delicacies from local food artisans such as marmalade,
must, beer, crispbread, beauty products and toys.

Gårdsmys at Kasteberg 2023
every Tuesday in January and February at 13.30-14.30

Every Tuesday afternoon in January and February we have Farm Fun on the farm.
We start from the farm shop and find something fun together.
Maybe we go and see where the cows sleep in winter, maybe we do crafts in the playroom,
maybe we build a nice installation in the woods.
What we find is decided on the same day. Dress according to the weather.

No cost, no pre-registration.

A warm welcome!

Adventure forest at Kasteberg Farm!

In Kasteberg Forest we have invented and created a lot of fun for adventurous and playful children, join us in the forest and play! We've built a no-touching-the-ground course in the forest adjacent to the farm shop. There you can challenge each other to exciting challenges. The course is suitable for children between 4-12 years. But smaller children will also enjoy it, perhaps with a little help from an adult. After the adventure course there is a quiz with questions for both children and adults. You can pick up the hint trays at the farm shop.

In addition to the Adventure Forest, there are lots of other exciting things to do on the farm (these little adventures are free and included in the price of the Adventure Forest)
